Excelsior College (formerly Regents College) has provided innovative and rigorous academic programs at a distance to adult learners since 1971. With more than 116,000 alumni worldwide, it offers 58 undergraduate and 3 graduate degrees, and 5 certificate programs through its schools of Business and Technology, Health Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Nursing. Accredited by Middle States, Excelsior holds specialized program accreditation from TAC of ABET and NLNAC. It's School of Nursing has been designated a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the NLNAC. Serving over 29,000 enrolled students in both its assessment- and instruction-based programs, nearly one-third of them are from groups historically underrepresented in higher education.
